| Event Details: | Last summer Northwood and GVI sent a team of excited college students and young adults to begin a new partnership with a Trung Chai Middle School – a school for poor villagers in the Sapa district. Students typically walk 2-3 hours from their villages to get to school. A typical lunch for them in this middle school is rice and perhaps some potatoes. This summer more college students will continue in this relationship by building an agricultural wall enabling the school to do farming and to raise livestock. When this project is completed it will enable this community to provide nutritious meals for its students and sustainable income for its educational programs.
