Glocal Ventures

Water - Partner with local agencies and community leaders to provide a sustainable water supply to the schools and surrounding villages from a nearby water source. We equip the schools with a locally produced water filtration system to ensure the children have access to clean drinking water. This ministry also provides health & hygiene training to teachers, students and community leaders.

Economic - Partner with the Bac Ha Farmers Association, to provide small business loans to poor farmers in this remote mountainous area, improving the income for whole families and villages. (I should have some feedback from Sherman tomorrow on this. Some changes have occurred and I need his input to describe what this looks like going forward.)

Health-Hygiene training: Our volunteers provide health & hygiene training to teachers, students and community leaders. Many of the illnesses that impact children can be prevented through basic training on germs, hand washing, and proper nutrition. Training local trainers to continue providing health and hygiene training to the community is a key part of this program.)
