Dr. Bob Roberts, Jr., founding pastor of the 2,000+ member Northwood Church near Dallas/Fort worth, Texas is a leading practitioner and writer on glocal – global and local – transformation of individuals, communities, and nations. Bob is the author of Transformation: How Glocal Churches Transform Lives and the World, as well as, Glocalization: How Followers of Christ Engage the New Flat Earth, Zondervan Publisher. Bob is a graduate of Baylor University (BA), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div), and Fuller Seminary (D. Min)

Dennis Jeffares serves as International Director for Glocal Ventures, Inc. Dennis has been involved in community development work since 1996. He served as Country Director of the Asian Rural Life Development Foundation (ARLDF) in Nepal from 1996-2000. From 2001-2006, Dennis served as the Country Director for ARLDF – Afghanistan. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern Louisiana School of Pharmacy in 1988 and his M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993. Sherman Chau serves as Glocal Ventures Vietnam Program Director. Sherman is a former journalist for the Hong Kong Standard and South China Morning Post. He served as Language and Culture Development Director at the English Language Institute, and taught English at Foreign Trade University in Hanoi. Sherman is a graduate of Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada, (BA) 1995, and Lee University, Tennessee, United States (MA) 2004.
